    A marvelous satin brocade peppered with decorative roundels of white, pink, olive, and two shades of brown on a brown field. If you look to the bottom of the tie, you’ll notice a detail common to well-made neckwear of the era, namely that that the fabric’s own selvedge stripe is integrated into one of the tip edges—in this particular instance, the selvedge features an odd thread in a delightful shade of blue. A “5-Fold Scarf”, manufacturer and retailer unknown, c.1930s. Excellent vintage condition, one faint water spot 7” from tip (please see photos).
